4-H Archery Group

The Smith County 4-H Archery program concentrates on safety, improving shooting skills, and of course, FUN! Youth learn listening skills, responsibility, and perseverance as they improve on their current archery expertise or learn a new skill set entirely. No previous experience is required to join the archery program.

4-H members may choose to shoot in the Genesis, Compound, or Recurve Division. The majority of our archers shoot in the Genesis Division.

Practices usually begin in February and conclude with 4-H’ers competing at the State 4-H Archery Jamboree in April.

To participate or learn more about the Smith County 4-H Archery Group, please email Katie Martin at kclark54@utk.edu or call 615-735-2900.

The Smith County Archery Group is open to all 4-H’ers in 4th-12th grades.
